What I use to process/convert master video files into editorial media. I can apply LUTs, burn in metadata and render out to various resolutions/codecs.
My main squeeze and most used tool for all my projects. Avid is where I sync, organize, label, edit, mix and output timelines of video/audio sequences to share with our teams.
Super useful for keeping notes, making lists, tracking shooting continuity, VFX, Music, Stock, etc. Perfect tools to generate documents that need to be passed along to anyone during the shoot or master packaging.
Essential for posting cuts, sharing media, paperwork, bins, etc. Especially for remote style workflows, when you need to transfer large data counts quickly. I also have very fast internet.
I have an extensive SFX, VFX & Music library that I've collected over the years.
I always keep big internal and external hard drives to organize/store master media, editorial media, tool-kits, etc. As a safety, I also keep an extra copy of my current project files... just in case a hard drive goes down.
